Naruto Screensaver – The Famous Manga Character on Your Desktop
I have to say I am not a big Naruto fan; I am a passionate Bleach fan. My younger brother on the other hand is a big Naruto fan so I told him about this screensaver. After trying it out, he pointed out a few things he liked about the screensaver and a few things he didn’t.
Starting on a positive note, he liked the quality of the images included in the screensaver, he liked that the screensaver uses various transition effects to move from one image to another and the fact that you can select which effects to use, and he liked that you can adjust the screensaver’s behavior. This means you can set it so the screensaver will not exit when you move the mouse, or press the key; you can even set it so the screensaver will exit only when you press the ESC key.
He also liked that getting Naruto Screensaver off the web and installing it on a PC only took moment. Last but not least, he liked that Naruto Screensaver is offered free of charge.
What he did not like is that Naruto Screensaver does things without asking. Once the installation process completes it launches Internet Explorer and directs you to the dwalls.com site, places shortcuts in the desktop without asking, and changes Internet Explorer’s homepage. These are nuisances that can be easily dealt with, but nuisances nonetheless – guess that’s the price you have to pay for getting Naruto Screensaver free of charge.
Before you go get Naruto Screensaver and put it to the test, take a look at the technical details presented below:
Download – the download weighs in at 4.4MB.
Supported OS – at the time of writing this and according to the developer, Naruto Screensaver provides support for Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, NT, Windows XP and Windows Vista. Tested the screensaver on Windows 7 and it seems to work fine on this Windows version as well.
Limitations – there are none since this application is freeware. You can use it free of charge for as long as you want.
